I do wonder about the cost/viability of CATSUtiltrotators on excavators under 5/6 tonnes, in particular. Obviously, there are many variables to weigh up and for some it works and for others it doesn`t.

This CATSU T04 is on a SUNWARD SWE35 UF mini digging excavator in Finland so it`s one of the smaller setups I have seen. The smallest being on a 6 tonne-ish Komatsu and a two tonne-ish Bobcat.

Have you seen many of these size combinations in your area/work place or on your socials? Do they seem to be a successful setup?

We use Crawler excavators with tiltrotators for various tasks including landscaping. They`ve proved an invaluable asset for work such as in this video topsoiling verges. One operator can self load, drive to location, fill and level the soil accurately. Older methods, such as using a backhoe would be much slower, messier and inefficient.

As the picture, we can see the Tilt Rotator work with a Digging Bucket very well.
