Halloween Origins:
There are several versions of the origin of Halloween, the most common being that the Celts of ancient Western Europe would have young men and women walk around their villages with grotesque masks and lanterns on the eve of their New Year's Day (November 1 every year). This was because the deceased members of the clan would visit the world at that time and the lights would lead them back.

Other versions have their origins in ancient Roman, Cretan and Celtic history and legends relating to the church, the afterlife and the soul.

Nowadays, these traditions have evolved into celebrations for today's young people, such as in some major cities in Europe and the United States, where special parades are held on Halloween night, allowing a group of "zombies, devils, witches and sprites" to walk down the street and celebrate the Halloween carnival with the human race.

Jack-O-Lantern is the symbol of Halloween. It is easy to make, cute and popular. Just hollow out the inside of the pumpkin, carve ghost faces with different expressions on the outside, and finally insert candles to complete the process.

Trick or treat:

Halloween is not only a favorite festival for adults, but also a carnival day for children. On the night before Halloween, some children in disguise will carry pumpkin lamps to visit the neighborhood and shout "Trick or treat" to the adults who open the door for them, and if they don't get any candy, they will play some small pranks on the family. If they don't get candy, they will play a little prank on the family.

Usually, however, the children are satisfied and return home full of candy. It is said that this custom was originally a way of placing food at the door to appease the ghosts who came to the door to beg for food. But now a group of cute children are laughing and begging for candies, which makes both parties enjoy themselves even more!
