Why do a thousand rotations test?

Tilt Rotators are key components in Excavator Attachments that allow excavators to perform a variety of tasks in tight Spaces. However, they must have excellent durability to cope with months or even years of heavy use. By simulating 10,000 rotations of each left and right, equivalent to months of work, we can assess whether the tilt rotator will have problems with long-term use.

Test process and environment

The testing process is rigorous to ensure accuracy and repeatability. The CATSU Tiltrotator is mounted on a standard excavator and then rotated continuously left and right to simulate use under different operating conditions. Factors such as temperature, hydraulic pressure and vibration were also monitored during the test to obtain comprehensive data.

Test results and findings

After 10,000 rotations, our Catsu tiltrotator still performs well. There was no significant performance degradation or failure. The Hydraulic system remains stable, and the tilt and rotation functions remain flexible and reliable.
